Should We Be Worried?

This week on A Podcast About Catholic Things, Eric (The Ambassador of Common Sense) and Dan (The Ambassador of Nonsense) discuss something that many people have been worried about for over a hundred years--what's going to happen to all the jobs? Is automation and even AI (Artificial Intelligence) going to replace man in the workforce? Is Corporate domination going to push pout the small business in every industry? While no one can predict the future, Eric and Dan demonstrate that in one industry, the same worries have been plaguing the business owner since the 1950s… yet small businesses have survived (although transformed) through at least 5 major industry revolutions.

In current events, Russia continues its attack on Ukraine. Eric and Dan question the reports coming in from main-stream media, and ask what might really be going on there? An earthquake in Indonesia kills 7. Afghanistan opens schools to men and women. US passes anti-lynching laws. Hot planet rains metal and jewels. Biden blames gas prices on Ukraine and Russia.

In the land of nonsense, lottery winner dodges phone calls. More odd world records. THC in fast food. People bid on used cigar.
